1. 낙관주의, 집착, 자기확신, 날것의 추진력, 개인적 네트워크가 일을 시작하게 만든다.

1. Optimism, obsession, self-belief, raw horsepower and personal connections are how things get started.

 

2. 응집된 팀, 침착함과 긴급함의 적절한 조화, 계산되지 않은 헌신이 일을 완수하게 만든다. 장기적 지향성은 사람들이 이해하기 힘들다. 짧은 시간만 보고 판단하는 사람들에 휘둘리지 마라. 하다보면 익숙해질 수 있다. 

2. Cohesive teams, the right combination of calmness and urgency, and unreasonable commitment are how things get finished. Long-term orientation is in short supply; try not to worry about what people think in the short term, which will get easier over time.

'초월번역' 이라고 명명한 이유는 지극히 '나'의 입장에서 초점을 맞춰 의역을 진행하였기 때문이다. 따라서 실제 의미를 훼손시켰을 수도 있으며, 어쩌면 나의 생각이 첨부되어 있을 수 있다. 직역을 하는 것은 파파고에게 맡기면 되기 때문에, 나에게 다가오는 해석을 전하고 싶고, 한글로 더 풍부하게 전하고 싶어서 이렇게 번역을 진행하였다. 물론 자신만의 가치관으로 해석하고 싶은 분은 직접 읽고, 번역에서 내가 놓친 부분을 알려주시거나 비판을 환영한다.

 

솔직히 아직 17가지 모두가 온전히 이해되지 않는다. 특히 4, 10, 12는 아직 받아드리기 힘든 것 같다. 더욱 더 천천히 곱씹어 봐야 겠다. 개인적으로 1,3,13이 마음 속에서 공명하는 것 같다. 특히 13. 행동하지 않는 것 자체도 보이지 않지만 리스크를 지는 행위이다. (Inaction is a particularly insidious type of risk.)이 새롭게 다가온 구절인 것 같다.
